Training
Strategy
IT-IQ conducts training
on a wide range of end-user Microsoft products as well as Microsoft
Certified Professional and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer courses.
We also offer courses on the well known CompTIA certifications; A+ IT
Technician, Network+ and Project+.
Recently added to
our portfolio is the Certified Business Professional range of certification
courses. These include Leadership, Customer Service, Business Etiquette and
Business Communication, Project Management and Computer Technology.
Course content can be
revised to suit the specific requirements of the customer, should the course
type permits
Certified
Trainers who also passed the relevant product exams conduct all training. Currently 3 fulltime and 2
part-time lecturers are responsible for ensuring learners get the best
certification education.
Students are provided
with a light lunch and refreshments served in the student canteen.
All
course material used in end-user training consists of the Thompson Learning
MOS (Microsoft Office specialist) or ICDL (International Computer
Driver Licence) approved Step-by-step manuals. The relevant Microsoft
Official Curriculum courseware or CompTIA approved curriculum is used for technical training.
Free telephone support
will be available for a period of 2 months after which a delegate
successfully completed a specific course. Should the need arise for on-site
support, it will be chargeable per hour at the standard call-out rates.
On-site training can be
conducted for corporate companies who have the necessary facilities should
the course type permit
Certificates are only
issued to candidates who successfully completed the specified course in
order to maintain training standards. Candidates who did not qualify will be
allowed to re-attend the specified course free of charge at the discretion
of the course administrator should a free space exist in a subsequent
course.

Course Evaluation
Each student is required
to complete a course evaluation form after attending the course.
We are able to arrange
course dates for big groups to suit the requirements of both parties.

Support Services
Support and
Maintenance services are available to customers on contract or “call-out”
basis.

Facilities
Training facilities
comprise of three training rooms, each with networked high level Pentium
PC’s with appropriate printing and projection facilities.
We cater for bulk
groups of up to 15 students and up to 8 students in the 2 smaller technical
training rooms.
Lunches for the course
attendees are provided for in the staff canteen.
